August Parents Connecting Meetings

EmpowerED Families hosts community meeting to help families understand ILEARN and IREAD test score data

In August, EmpowerED Families will host two Parents Connecting Meetings. During each meeting, EmpowerED Families and education leaders will help families understand how to read IRead and ILearn test scores, and translate what it could mean for their students. Families will also learn about K-12 education resources, and get connected with K-12 resources. Meeting dates below:

• Thursday, August 24, 6-7pm
  MLK Community Center (40 W 40th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208)
• Tuesday, August 8, 6-7pm
  Indianapolis Public Library – Haughville Branch (2121 W Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46222)

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged, as a light meal and childcare will be provided.
