EmpowerED Families hires Idella Renea Gates
Idella Renea Gates joins EmpowerED Families as Manager of Community Engagement. She has previously managed large scale community events and outreach strategies for Junior Achievement and Indianapolis Public Schools and more. She is deeply involved in the community as board president for Minorities in Hospitality and Central Indiana Bicycling Association, as well as serving on the board for the Indy Black Chamber of Commerce.
As manager of community engagement for EmpowerED Families, she will work closely with support organization efforts to connect with
families across the city and equip them to advocate for change that creates a more equitable future for Indianapolis children.
