Education Learning Hub
This in-person session will bring families, educators, and community partners together to prepare for a strong summer of learning. You will learn how to keep students engaged, prevent summer learning loss, and connect with local programs and resources across Indianapolis.
The session will highlight practical strategies you can use at home and in your community. We will also share tools and opportunities available through EmpowerED Families and partner organizations.
Indy Summer Learning Labs program staff will be available to answer question and help you enroll your student for summer 2026. Learn more about the program at indysummerlearninglabs.com.

ILEA meeting at City County Building
The Indianapolis Local Education Alliance is a city-led body charged by the Indiana General Assembly to craft plans that address facility and transportation management, among other topics such as governance structure and increasing efficiency. The goal of the alliance is to deepen collaboration across traditional public and public charter schools and support a strong academic experience for all students.
Parent Leadership Training
The EmpowerED Families Parent Leadership Training is a 6 week program designed to equip Indianapolis parents and community members with the knowledge and skills to advocate effectively for better schools and policies in their communities.
Best for: This training is specifically designed for Indianapolis parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community leaders who are passionate about education and want to understand the education system better and become strong advocates for children.

We believe this session offers a valuable opportunity to share strategies for parents to recognize when their child is being bullied, provide effective methods for school leaders to tackle bullying, and highlight community mentor programs that can offer support within schools.
